Dr. Getachew is a Neurologist, Adult & Pediatric Sleep Medicine Specialist and Pharmacist. He received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University School of Pharmacy and worked as Pharmacist for about 6 years. He completed his doctorate of medicine at Medical college of Ohio. His post-graduate training includes a neurology residency at Cleveland Clinic Florida and a fellowship in pediatric and adult sleep medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Neurology and trained in ACGM accredited sleep medicine fellowship program unlike most sleep doctors.
The goal of University Neurology and Sleep Medicine is for our practice to be much more than a ‘doctor’s office or a 'sleep lab.’ Instead, we want our practice to be a place where children and adults find support, answers, and direction. We promise timely and thorough service for our patients in our state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment facilities.
